Back of the Book Blurb #60 Challenge

From Sioux's PageSioux offers this challenge.

She posts a picture and you need to imagine it as a graphic for a book. You choose the genre and book title, and then write a blurb that might appear on the back of the book.

The blurb should be 150 words or less (not including the title). The genre is wide-open.
Each blogger should include their blurb on their own blog, and link back to this post. Have fun with it. Go to the other posts and comment on the other blurbs.  You can do fancy techy things with the photo.

(Join in if you dare...! It sounds like fun! I think this would be a lot of fun to do with students especially since they would be expected to write 150 words or less!)

A Simpler Time

Bobby wished that he could be somewhere else where life wasn’t so complicated. He lost his cell phone and his parents were mad at him. He even had his internet taken away!

With a flash, his life suddenly changed. The next thing he knew, he was in1953! No one seemed to notice that he suddenly appeared.

From inside a building, he heard a woman call his full name and tell him to get back in to help out. As he looked up, he realized that this looked like the drugstore that his great-grandparents used to own. It even had a soda fountain inside. When he went to family gatherings, many of the old people would share stories they remembered of going to the soda fountain for lunch and ice cream sodas. He remembered the drugstore from pictures that he saw.

How did this lady know him? What was going on? (150 words)

That's intriguing. I never thought of the time-travel angle!
