March winds always make me want to go out and fly a kite. I loved to have my students follow written directions (reading, sequence skills, following directions) and then taking them outside to fly them. The students of all ages loved doing this! I didn’t realize how many students have never done this before!
It also makes me think of the song: Let’s Go Fly a Kite from Mary Poppins.
