July was another rough month for me. My father passed away
on July 11 which put me in a funk all month. I had some trouble focusing on my
goals this month but when I was reviewing them, I realized that I actually did
better than I expected. I also started teaching my summer graduate course which
kept me busy. I did finish my twelfth biography though and I’m happy I reached
my reading goal! I really enjoyed this, and I think I will continue this type
of goal next year and pick a specific topic to focus on for the year.
My yearly goals are:
1.
Lose 10 lbs. This seems to be my continuing goal
each year and hopefully, this is the year that I reach it.
2.
Knit 12 squares on my national park blanket. (There
are 60 squares in the pattern, and this is year 2 of the project.)
6.
2019 Photo A Day Project – I participate in this
every other year and I feel it helps me learn how to take better photos.
Results: I’ve decided to color code my results. Red = bad, Green = Work in Progress, Strike through = completed.
1.
I’ve lost 1 lb.

2.

since January.
6.

a day project!
