Back of the Book Blurb #100 Challenge

From Sioux's PageSioux offers this challenge.

She posts a picture and you need to imagine it as a graphic for a book. You choose the genre and book title, and then write a blurb that might appear on the back of the book.

The blurb should be 150 words or less (not including the title). The genre is wide-open.
Each blogger should include their blurb on their own blog, and link back to this post. Have fun with it. Go to the other posts and comment on the other blurbs.  You can do fancy techy things with the photo.

(Join in if you dare...! It sounds like fun! I think this would be a lot of fun to do with students especially since they would be expected to write 150 words or less!)

The Unforgettable Vacation

Maybelle passed away 7 years ago, and Lester decided it was time to start enjoying life again. He went to the library and saw the poster on the board. He couldn’t read the fine print because he left his glasses at home, but he was able to read the phone number. As soon as he got home, he called the number and booked the cruise. What he didn’t know was that it was for Singles - 30 years and under. When Lester got on the ship, he realized his mistake, but everyone told him to come on anyway. They told him that age was just a number and if he felt under 30, he was welcome to join them! They helped him sign up for the shore excursions so that he would be with one of their groups. This was going to be a vacation he never would forget! (149 words)

And from the looks of Lester, everyone else on that cruise won't forget it either.

Heh, heh! And a vacation the Under-30s would not forget, either!
