Back of the Book Blurb #26 Challenge

From Sioux's Page, Sioux offers this challenge.

She posts a picture and you need to imagine it as a graphic for a book. You choose the genre and book title, and then write a blurb that might appear on the back of the book.

The blurb should be 150 words or less (not including the title).
The genre is wide-open.
Each blogger should include their blurb on their own blog, and link back to this post.
Have fun with it. Go to the other posts and comment on the other blurbs.
You can do fancy techy things with the photo.

(Join in if you dare...! It sounds like fun! I think this would be a lot of fun to do with students especially since they would be expected to write 150 words or less!)

Grocery Shopping Surprise

Bob hated to go grocery shopping!  Once a week he would go into town and get the necessary things that Mabel put on the grocery list. He grumbled about the prices and the selection and just the act of having to go shopping. He hated that food would go bad before they could finish it or that things had to be kept cold so they wouldn’t go bad. Then one day he saw that the grocery store had added spam to their inventory. He didn’t care for spam but then he found a can that spam with bacon!! Everything is better with bacon in it! So he bought all of the cans that the store had! He was so excited because he thought of all the different ways they could cook with spam!  Read more to see how Mabel reacted when he got home! (144 words)

I can imagine a pantry filled with nothing but stacks and stacks of SPAM cans. With bacon!

Pat--Hopefully Mabel won't throw him out over all those cans of Spam.

Thanks for playing along. Your story went off in a completely different direction.

I just pictured my hubby doing this. Last year we went to the Spam Museum in Minnesota and this brought back good memories!
