She posts a picture and you need to imagine it as a graphic
for a book. You choose the genre and book title, and then write a blurb that
might appear on the back of the book.
The blurb should be 150 words or less (not including the
title). The genre is wide-open.
Each blogger should include their blurb on their own blog,
and link back to this post. Have fun with it. Go to the other posts and comment
on the other blurbs. You can do fancy techy things with the photo.
(Join in if you dare...! It sounds like fun! I think this
would be a lot of fun to do with students especially since they would be
expected to write 150 words or less!)
The Hatfields
When Billy, Bootsy, and Baby Boo Boo found that huge 50 lb.
gold nugget in the black hills of South Dakota, they couldn’t believe how much
money it was worth! They had always wanted to live in New York City so they
left their old one room shack and moved to their new home! When they arrived,
their jaws dropped at all the big buildings! People must have heard about Billy’s
big gold find because strangers kept asking if they could take a picture of
them! When they arrived at their new home on Park Avenue, they couldn’t believe
how big the building was! Some nice man even held the door open for them. When
they asked where this thing called the Penthouse was, the man looked at them a
little oddly and asked why they wanted to go there. Billy answered, “Cause we
live there now!” (149 words)

Bootsy and Baby Boo Boo? What perfect names for these characters. They certainly look like the fish out of water in the story you've crafted, Pat. Thanks for playing along. I appreciate it.
Heh, heh! When he first saw that Park Avenue building, Billy probably said, "Wow! That building would sure hold a lot of hay!"
I like how they justified the people asking to take their picture.
