In the US, we celebrate Veterans Day on November 11. We
honor all veterans who served in our military to keep us safe and free. It was
originally called Armistice Day to commemorate the end of World War I.
Im the UK, they celebrate Remembrance Day. This is also informally
known as Poppy Day. It remembers the members of service who died in the line of
duty.
Remember to thank those who serve or served in our military
for the sacrifices they and their families have made.
