Back of the Book Blurb #71 Challenge

From Sioux's PageSioux offers this challenge.

She posts a picture and you need to imagine it as a graphic for a book. You choose the genre and book title, and then write a blurb that might appear on the back of the book.

The blurb should be 150 words or less (not including the title). The genre is wide-open.
Each blogger should include their blurb on their own blog, and link back to this post. Have fun with it. Go to the other posts and comment on the other blurbs.  You can do fancy techy things with the photo.

(Join in if you dare...! It sounds like fun! I think this would be a lot of fun to do with students especially since they would be expected to write 150 words or less!)

A Smile A Day

Millicent was always an unhappy woman and didn’t care if anyone didn’t like her. But she knew that in business, everyone expected smiles and that is how she had gotten her billions of dollars. But she was so tired of smiling and finally figured out a great plan. She hired unsuspecting young happy girls without any families and paid them well. Then she invited a girl to her house for dinner. After she was nicely drugged, Millicent had the doctors waiting to take the girl’s face off. She only kept their smiles and then she tossed their bodies away. In fact, she had a nice collection of smiles on her wall to use whenever she needed one. Until one day, a detective knocked on Millicent’s door asking her questions about one of the girls. Would he find out why the girls who worked for her were disappearing? (147 words)

Yikes! That plot is even darker than mine! But it would make a better movie.
