She posts a picture and you need to imagine it as a graphic for a book. You choose the genre and book title, and then write a blurb that might appear on the back of the book.
The blurb should be 150 words or less (not including the title). The genre is wide-open.
Each blogger should include their blurb on their own blog, and link back to this post. Have fun with it. Go to the other posts and comment on the other blurbs. You can do fancy techy things with the photo.
(Join in if you dare...! It sounds like fun! I think this would be a lot of fun to do with students especially since they would be expected to write 150 words or less!)
A Mother’s Love
Bambi had lost her mother and didn’t know where to go. She was so scared! Eventually she wandered out of the edge of the woods ad saw a barn. Maybe there would be some food and water there! Slowly, she creeped up to the barn but froze when she saw this big dog in front of her. Softly, the dog, Clover, said hello and tried not to scare the deer. Clover asked Bambi where her mother was and why she was there, but Bambi had no answers. Clover slowly moved to Bambi and hugged her. Clover told Bambi that she was welcome to stay with her and her puppies because she would want someone to do the same for her pup if one was lost. After comforting Bambi, Clover said she would help Bambi find her mother. Would Clover be able to help find Bambi’s mother? (146 words)

Aw...that's sweet! Now I'm ashamed of the direction my story took.
