a picture and you need to imagine it as a graphic for a book. You choose the
genre and book title, and then write a blurb that might appear on the back of
the book.
The
blurb should be 150 words or less (not including the title).
The
genre is wide-open.
Each
blogger should include their blurb on their own blog, and link back to this
post.

do fancy techy things with the photo.

with students especially since they would be expected to write 150 words or
less!)

He had to be somewhere! Spanky looked everywhere but couldn’t
find his best friend. They usually did everything together but this time, his
friend had his head turned by a girl. This girl was one hot potato but Spanky
didn’t fall for her charm. She flirted and winked her long lashes at Spud. She
was full of unsaid promises and Spud instantly fell in love. When Spanky tried
to warn Spud, Spud got mad and left. He didn’t mean to mash Spud’s feelings but
he didn’t want Spud to get hurt like last time. Now Spanky couldn’t find Spud
anywhere so he went to their usual meeting place. With a shriek of horror,
Spanky couldn’t believe what he found! Was this Spud? What had happened? Read

Mashed feelings? Cute. Poor Spud and poor Sparky. I hope they work things out. No "Hot Potato" is more important than a friendship.

Oh, no! Looks like Spud has fallen into a dicey situation, and I suspect the French might have had something to do with it.
