Back of the Book Blurb #15 Challenge Part 2

From Sioux's Page, Sioux offers this challenge.

She posts a picture and you need to imagine it as a graphic for a book. You choose the genre and book title, and then write a blurb that might appear on the back of the book.

·                The blurb should be 150 words or less (not including the title).
·                The genre is wide-open.
·                Each blogger should include their blurb on their own blog, and link back to this post.
·                Have fun with it. Go to the other posts and comment on the other blurbs.
·                You can do fancy techy things with the photo.

(Join in if you dare...! It sounds like fun! I think this would be a lot of fun to do with students especially since they would be expected to write 150 words or less!)

I actually used this photo in May, but Sioux has returned from a hiatus so I’m going to join in with the same photo and a different story. Here it is!

The Step Mom

She married him because she loved him but with him, came four kids.  Every other weekend, every other major holiday week, and every Wednesday night, the four kids lived at their house. He was the coach for the sports teams that they played on so going to the games was not optional. But his first wife insisted on letting everyone know she was THE mom. Even her car had a tag that says HCTM-01 which stood for Here comes THE mom – (the first wife). Was she supposed to get one that said HCTM-02? Something needed to be done, for the kid’s sake. This atmosphere was tearing the kids apart. She needed a plan and she knew exactly what she was going to do! (126 words)
