a picture and you need to imagine it as a graphic for a book. You choose the
genre and book title, and then write a blurb that might appear on the back of
the book.
The
blurb should be 150 words or less (not including the title).
The
genre is wide-open.
Each
blogger should include their blurb on their own blog, and link back to this
post.

The Case of
the Missing Painting
The detectives
looked around at the mess in the building. When asked if anything was missing,
the owner of the antique store, Annie Ashbey stated that the only thing missing
was the crazy painting. Why would anyone pass up all the valuable antiques and
only take that painting? She couldn’t get anyone to buy it and usually no one
even looked twice at it. Yet, someone had broken in the building, trashed a lot
of valuable antiques and then stole the crazy mixed-up painting. The painting
had a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge, Howard Hughes, and a scene from
Psycho. No one even knew who painted it. What did all of that have in common?
Was that painting more valuable than anyone imagined? Was there a secret in the
painting? Was the painter someone famous? Read on to find out more about that

OOH! Maybe there's something painted UNDER that painting, and the mish-mash was just a ruse to protect the real masterpiece. Or else some birds came in and took it to poop on.
