Here are some interesting sites that I’ve found this week, thanks to my PLN. As a teacher, I feel we have to keep up to date concerning research in our field and current issues in the education system. ReadWorks - “ReadWorks was founded in 2008 to help teachers meet the nationwide crisis in reading comprehension. We help teachers improve their effectiveness through research-based, classroom-proven practices and curriculum. ReadWorks is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization. Celestia - The free space simulation that lets you explore our universe in three dimensions. Celestia runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. (L:G; SA: S)
