She posts
a picture and you need to imagine it as a graphic for a book. You choose the
genre and book title, and then write a blurb that might appear on the back of
the book.
The
blurb should be 150 words or less (not including the title).
The
genre is wide-open.
Each
blogger should include their blurb on their own blog, and link back to this
post.

You can
do fancy techy things with the photo.

with students especially since they would be expected to write 150 words or

The Fight for Survival
Delphinia knew the fight would be hard but she wouldn’t give
up. In the movies, good always triumphed evil and she wanted this to turn out
the same way. Apollo would not get away with his dastardly deeds.
At first, Delphinia notices little things happening where
people were dying of unnatural causes. The more she investigated, the more she
learned that it had the handprint of Apollo on all the events. She didn’t know
why he was doing it but maybe if she found out the reason, she could stop him.
After trailing him around the world, she found him at the
top of the Statue of Liberty. It was a time for a showdown. Apollo was ready
for the fight and starting throwing lightning bolts across the sky to warn her.
