She posts a picture and you need to imagine it as a graphic for a book. You choose the genre and book title, and then write a blurb that might appear on the back of the book.
The blurb should be 150 words or less (not including the title). The genre is wide-open.
Each blogger should include their blurb on their own blog, and link back to this post. Have fun with it. Go to the other posts and comment on the other blurbs. You can do fancy techy things with the photo.
(Join in if you dare...! It sounds like fun! I think this would be a lot of fun to do with students especially since they would be expected to write 150 words or less!)
All Prepared
Ronnie was all set for any disaster – natural or man-made. He built a large bunker in his backyard that could withstand any kind of nuclear blast. It was full of supplies for up to three years for his family of four. Solar panels would keep the electricity running and an underground well to an aquifer would supply their water. A composting system would handle all their waste. But his secret supply were the cases of unicorn meat that he had bought. He didn’t tell his wife Cindy about the $50,000 cost because she was already not happy with his spending all this money. In fact, Ronnie wasn’t sure she was happy with the idea of preparing for the disaster or the creation of the bunker. Hopefully she will be happy to have the unicorn meat. Will Cindy explode before the disaster hits or be glad of his preparations? Read on.

I think that when Cindy's tummy starts to rumble, she'll dig into that unicorn meat with gusto!
Pat--I think Cindy's tummy will start to rumble AFTER she eats the unicorn meat. Thanks for playing along.
