Back of the Book Blurb #59 Challenge

From Sioux's PageSioux offers this challenge.

She posts a picture and you need to imagine it as a graphic for a book. You choose the genre and book title, and then write a blurb that might appear on the back of the book.

The blurb should be 150 words or less (not including the title). The genre is wide-open.
Each blogger should include their blurb on their own blog, and link back to this post. Have fun with it. Go to the other posts and comment on the other blurbs.  You can do fancy techy things with the photo.

(Join in if you dare...! It sounds like fun! I think this would be a lot of fun to do with students especially since they would be expected to write 150 words or less!)

The Knitting Master

Marilyn loved to knit and knit every free moment she had. She made hats, scarves, shawls, sweaters, and socks. Everyone loved everything she made and even her husband, Herbert, was proud of the things she finished.

Unfortunately, all the people she knew wanted her to make something for them. but if she did, that meant she didn’t have time to make the things she wanted. Marilyn liked making gifts if it was something she wanted to do but she hated the pressure of making something for money.

Her husband encouraged her to make things for others and make money to buy some more yarn. When she told him about her concerns, he came up with a solution. He made her rules about her knitting service and told her that she could show that whenever someone wanted her to make something. Read and find out if the sign solved her problems.  (150 words)

Pat--I love that you have a knitter as a main character.

As far as knitting, I think I'd opt for either "good and cheap" or "good and fast," because I'd want to make sure it didn't unravel. ;)

That sign is the perfect solution for the Master Knitter!
