Back of the Book Blurb #13 Challenge

In Back-of-the-Book Blurb Friday # 13 from Sioux's Page, Sioux offers this challenge.

She posts a picture and you need to imagine it as a graphic for a book. You choose the genre and book title, and then write a blurb that might appear on the back of the book.

·                The blurb should be 150 words or less (not including the title).
·                The genre is wide-open.
·                Each blogger should include their blurb on their own blog, and link back to this post.
·                Have fun with it. Go to the other posts and comment on the other blurbs.
·                You can do fancy techy things with the photo.

(Join in if you dare...! It sounds like fun! I think this would be a lot of fun to do with students especially since they would be expected to write 150 words or less!)

Join the Circus!

Harry the Hedgehog finished up with the finishing touches to the tents. Leonard the Lion was busy getting the elephants to finish doing the heavy work. The birds were doing a great job flying the ropes where they were needed. The seals were repairing any rips to the clown outfits from the last show. Heidi the hippo was getting her Fat Lady trailer set up and Bennie the Blue Macaw was practicing his circus master routine. Everyone pitched in to get the circus ready for the crowds. Well, that was everyone except the horses. The Lippazaner stallions thought they were too good to help out. Harry finished putting up the sign about the children and hoped they would get more children added to their menagerie. Read more to find out if any children were sold to the circus and what happened that night to make it a truly memorable night! (150 words.)

Pat--With all the animals, you gave it a real childlike quality, which I had not even thought of. Thanks for playing with me.
