Next week I start teaching my university course called Education of Students with Exceptionalities at Furman University which lasts until December 17. I’m very excited and hope that my 22 undergraduate students are excited too! This is going to be a great opportunity for me to share my knowledge and experiences as a special education teacher over the past 30 years. I will be reviewing their readings from the textbook, have them applying some of their knowledge, and learning about tools that can be used as assistive technology. I hope to introduce them to the power of blogging and developing a personal learning network. I’m really looking forward to this experience so please keep me in your thoughts.

Pat--Is this your first college class you're teaching?
Congratulations. I am sure you will do a splendid job. You have a wealth of experience, and the students are going to get the benefit of all those years you taught.
No, I have been teaching for the university for the past 6 years but on the graduate level. This is the first fall class and the first class with all undergraduates.
Sounds like a great class! Good luck with your first day. Have a great year!
