I then would reteach the lesson until they understood the skill. When students made mistakes, they had to correct them instead of moving on. I see too many teachers just give a grade and that is it but I don't feel the students learned from their mistakes this way. I gather from the rest of your post that the vertical poster "what is right is not always popular.....what is popular is not always right" could be very comfortably displayed in your classroom.<BR/>I'm interested in what your take on those other items is...if you don't mind saying.
