I also like to think that people like to help others so asking for help gives the helper something too.loonyhikerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05378360383088143368noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5472287208924187505.post-88146323047717280712008-11-13T21:03:00.000-05:002008-11-13T21:03:00.000-05:00Thanks for sharing this! Knowing the unspoken rules of social interaction is just as important as academic knowledge.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5472287208924187505.post-45430524389890487552008-11-11T11:12:00.000-05:002008-11-11T11:12:00.000-05:00Since my 9th graders don't understand any of these...Since my 9th graders don't understand any of these social skills, I guess it's my job to start teaching them.

Thank you for the information. :-)M-Dawghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12597592214404682497noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5472287208924187505.post-66937892122387857052008-11-10T07:07:00.000-05:002008-11-10T07:07:00.000-05:00Very interesting and useful. I'm so glad you teach this one.

Asking for help is also SO important. I know this is one area I struggle with a bit. I tend to try to sort it out for myself before asking for help - and sometimes leave it too long!

Penny Ryderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15384523856122217309noreply@blogger.com
